It will be held at Rosedale House in Shankill on Saturday April 20th from 10-4pm.

Rosedale House has kindly donated its grounds and beautiful exclusive house for this worthwhile cause.

If the Irish weather cooperates, photos will be taken in Rosedale’s stunning garden, otherwise photos will be taken inside the gorgeous residence.

For a €25 donation per person to The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation you receive the gift of an individual portrait mini-session and a desk-size portrait with a participating member of the Irish Professional Photographers’ Association.

• 100% of every donation will be paid directly to The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation.

• All costs for this charity event are being donated by participating photographers.

• Portrait consists of 7″x5″ (desk-size approx) photograph in presentation folder.

• Individual portraits will be taken for Happy Faces Day.
• One portrait per person.

This utterly adorable little girl was lovely to photograph. She drifted in and out of sleep and when she was awake she had the most gorgeous expressions.

Being a good model must run in the family. We took photographs of this little sweetie’s older sister a couple of years ago and she was just as fabulous as he was. It was also really nice to catch up on all the chat with their lovely mum.

This beautiful girl came for a quick visit but we fell in love with her sweet nature and her clear eyed gaze.

We had a lovely morning with this little girl and her parents. Like lots of newborn girls she was very alert and interested in what was going on around her but we managed to get some sleepy shots along with the eyes open ones. Doesn’t she have the prettiest face?!

What a lovely session to end the year on. This 15 day old boy was a dream newborn and this smile caught by both of us at the same time from different angles was just a really nice serendipitous moment.

We wanted to take a picture with the theme ‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse’ and I think you’ll agree that baby H played his part very well

So on that note Merry Christmas everyone and especially to all our great newborns, babies, older siblings and their parents that we’ve met during the year. Each and every one of you have brought something special into both our lives. Nicole and Lynn xx

We are so happy this family of four chose us for their family photographs. Two year olds can sometimes be tricky in a studio setting because they are so interested in exploring everything around them but this older sister was an absolute dream and smiled and dressed up in a tutu and pearls and smiled some more. She was also so sweet and loving towards her sister it was a joy to watch. Her little sister must have already picked up on her older sister’s happy nature because she was also one of our easiest newborns to date and would artfully arrange her hands in the sweetest positions.

Isn’t that the cutest little boy smile you ever saw? We photographed this little boy a year ago and it was lovely to see him again and to meet his new little brother!

When a new baby is born in the family we flock to shops to find the softest blankets and the fluffiest toys that will make the perfect gift. Here are two such presents bought by the family that suited this beautiful little girl perfectly.

How nice that baby ‘A’ smiled when wrapped in the first thing I have knitted since the late 80′s. But seriously this little boy couldn’t have been sweeter. We always feel so happy to be able to share one of the first days of a baby’s life and each and every baby melts our heart a little.

I think this little girl must have been in training for our photo session. She was a newborn photographer’s dream sleeping soundly as we gently moved her from one position to the next. Even artfully arranging her own hands into beautiful positions. We just kept looking at each other open mouthed not able to believe our luck.

Did you ever see such a clear eyed gaze from a baby so young? We LOVED photographing this gorgeous little girl and were so happy to get lots of open eyed shots too.

It is always a  privilege when we are asked to photograph a families newest addition but for the session to be the first trip out as a family made it all the more special. How safe and comfortable she looked snuggled in her parent’s arms. A truly lovely family to have had the opportunity to spend time with.
